DMCA Policy

The Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”) of 1998 provides recourse for copyright owners who believe their rights have been infringed online under U.S. copyright law. CelebrityNetWorth.com and Corte Lodato LLC (“Company”) adhere to the following general policy regarding copyright infringement in compliance with the DMCA:

Corte Lodato LLC takes allegations of copyright infringement seriously. If you believe in good faith that CelebrityNetWorth.com is hosting material that infringes your copyright, you may submit a written notification of claimed infringement to the designated agent listed at the end of this policy.

To properly notify us of claimed infringement under the DMCA, your written communication must include:

  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
  • Identification of the material claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity, including information reasonably sufficient to locate the material.
  • Information reasonably sufficient to contact the complaining party, such as an address, telephone number, and email address if available.
  • A statement that the complaining party has a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the exclusive right allegedly being infringed.

Upon receiving a valid notification of claimed infringement, it is our policy to:

  1. Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material.
  2. Notify the content provider, user, or member that we have removed or disabled access to the material.
  3. Terminate access to the service for repeat offenders who have had infringing material removed from the system.

Please note that filing a false claim of copyright infringement can result in severe legal penalties. If you believe a notice of copyright infringement has been wrongly filed against you, you may submit a counter-notification to our designated agent. A valid counter-notification must include:

  1. A physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled, and the location where the material appeared before it was removed or access was disabled.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address, telephone number, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or if outside the U.S., any judicial district in which the service provider may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the complainant.
